Baiysh is a family owned yurt camp located on the southern shore of Song-Kol lake that has been welcoming international travelers for 15 years. Baiysh yurt camp staff members speak Russian and Kyrgyz languages.
Baiysh Yurt Camp is located in the Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan, on the southern shore of Song-Kol (Son-Kul) lake. VIEW THE MAP
The yurt camp is located in a walking distance from the lake shore (400 m) and petroglyphs, not far from the road. So if you stay at Baiysh Yurt camp you will be able to visit all sights of this area while hiking in the surroundings and make beautiful panoramic pictures of Song-Kol lake.
Baiysh Yurt Camp consists of 30 cozy yurts separated in 2 smaller camps situated 300 m apart from one another: 20 twin yurts and 10 dorm yurts (5 sleeping places).
Each yurt is equipped with wooden beds with comfortable mattresses, warm handmade blankets, linen, towels, shyrdaks (traditional Kyrgyz carpets) and stoves. Besides, all yurts are provided with electricity and you may ask for a phone charger if you don’t have one.
In addition, each smaller yurt camp has 2 big yurts used as a restaurant and bar, 4 toilets and banya (sauna).

Baiysh Yurt Camp offers you an opportunity to live in a typical nomad yurt decorated in traditional Kyrgyz style, but equipped with all the amenities; so you may experience the nomad life with comfort.

- Learn more about local traditions having dinner with the host family;
- Watch a folk show (playing traditional musical instrument “komuz”);
- Participate in the preparation of traditional Kyrgyz dishes;
