TOUR DESCRIPTION 

Bishkek – Balykchi – Cholpon-Ata – Karakol flexible tour, Kyrgyzstan

Please, note, that the accommodation planned for this tour is in local hotels/guest houses/yourt camps and is not included in the price. Upon your request Vyacheslav can arrange overnights in in tents and picnics. Besides, if you wish, yo can previously book a room in any hotel or resort on the shore of Issyk-Kul lake.

Moreover, the duration of the tour is very flexible – from 5 to 14 days, depending on your needs and wishes. So the duration and the number of day for each city or place of interest is merely informative and approximate.

Days 1-2: Bishkek and surroundings

Transfer from Manas airport to Bishkek. Bishkek city tour. Excursions to Chukurchak, Ala-Archa, Belaya Gorka waterfall and Ysyk-ata.

Day 3: Bishkek – Balykchi

Transfer to Balykchi. On the way you will stop to rest at the recreacional complex Hawaii close to Tokmok. Besides, you will visit such places of interest as Burana tower, Ak-Tuz, Chon-Kemin.

Day 4: Balykchi – Cholpon-Ata

Transfer from Balykchi to Cholpon-Ata. Here you will visit Ruh-Ordo cultural center, where you will see 5 sturctures representing the main religions (Buddism, Judaism, Orthodoxy, Islam and Catolicism) and different monuments. Moreover, you will visit open-air petroglyph museum and the Ortok gorge.

Day 5-7: Cholpon-Ata – Karakol

During this days you will visit the following places of interest:

  • Semenov and Grigoriev gorges (Kyrchyn);
  • Orukty lakes;
  • Hot springs;
  • The Karkyra river basin.

Besides, once you get to Karakol, you will visit Dungan Mosque (a wooden mosque built by Chinese artisans for the local Dungans between 1907 and 1910) and Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Curch  (built in 1869, destroyed in an earthquake in 1889 and rebuilt in 1895). City tour. The Altyn Arashan gorge (please, consult the service provider for more details about the visit to this gorge).

Day 7-8: Karakol-Balykchi

You will visit the Jety Oguz valley (the valley of flowers and Devichi Slezy (Girl’s tears) waterfal) and the Barskoon valley, where you can see a beautifull waterfall and go up to the glacier (4000 m) (please, consult the service provider on the transport availabilityand prices if you want to go to the glacier). Afterwards, you may visit Skazka canyon and Salty (Dead) lake. The Karagandy-Bulak valley; overnight in the yurt camp Bel-Tam.

Day 9:  Balykchi-Bishkek

Transfer from Balykchi to Bishkek. Manas international Airport.

In order to calculate the price per 1 person you have to multiply the number of days by 125 and divide it by the number of persons in your group! Example: 9 days * 125 /4 pax = 281,25 USD per 1 person.
