TOUR DESCRIPTION 

Bishkek – Almaty – Charyn canyons – Satty village – Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek flexible tour, Kyrgyzstan & Kazakhstan

Please, note, that the duration of the tour is very flexible and can be changed depending on your needs and wishes. So the duration and the number of day for each city or place of interest is merely informative and approximate.

Days 1-3: Bishkek – Almaty

Meeting up at Manas International Airport. Transfer to Bishkek. During these days you will visit the following places of interest:

  • Medeu (Medeo) – an outdoor speed skating and bandy rink located in a mountain valley on the south-eastern outskirts of Almaty, Kazakhstan at 1,691 metres above sea level.
  • Kok-Tobe Hill (or Kok-Tube) – a popular tourist attraction in Almaty. The Kok Tobe recreational area has a variety of attractions and restaurants. It is connected to Almaty by a cable car line.
  • The Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen – a major park in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
  • Zelyony Bazaar, Almaty
  • Several museum (upon your request).

Day 4: Almaty – Charyn Canyon

From Alamaty you will head to Charyn Canyon – a canyon on the Sharyn (Charyn) River in Kazakhstan. The canyon is roughly 90 kilometres in length. It is part of the Charyn National Park, and is located within the territory of the Uygur District, Raiymbek District and Enbekshikazakh District.

Accommodaton in tents/yurts.

Days 5-7: Charyn canyons – Satty village

During these days you will visit beautiful Kol Say lakes, including Lake Kaindy known for its mirror-smooth reflection and stands of dead spruce trunks rising from the water. It was formed in 1911 (when an earthquake caused a landslide that blocked one end of the gorge).

Accommodation in a guesthouse.

Days 8-11: Satty village – Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek

From Satty village you will head to the Karkyra river basin through Keregen. And from there you will continue your trip to Cholpon-Ata, where you can enjoy the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul and visit several museums. Afterwards you will head to Bishkek (passing Balykchi).

In order to calculate the price per 1 person you have to multiply the number of days by 125 and divide it by the number of persons in your group! Example: 9 days * 125 /4 pax = 281,25 USD per 1 person.
