Afterwords, you will cross the river and follow the trail through the green hills to the Kilemche jailoo. The name of the jailoo means “like a carpet” because it looks like a shyrdak (Kyrgyz felt carpet) made of grass that covers the whole mountain range. Song-Kol lake seems very distant from the pass, but it gets larger and larger as you get down the slope. At the same time the mountains located on the opposite side of the lake get higher and higher until finally the lake fills most of the view and the mountains tower over it. You will have picnic by the lake, on a hill with amazing view. After lunch you will follow the lakeshore to the west to the yurts at Uzbek-Ashuu. Upon arrival you will meet your host family of Kyrgyz shepherds. Dinner and overnight in the yurt of the shepherds.
