Jyrgals yurt camp at Kol Suu

Kyrgyzstan is an amazing and very beautiful country founded by nomadic people. The nomads have always been living in portable, round tents covered with felt and called “yurts”. Even today the yurts are the best accommodation option in the most of hard-to-reach areas of mountainous Kyrgyzstan.

Location

The yurt camp “Jyrgal” is located in a very hard to reach area, in Ak Say valley (At-Bashy mountain range, Naryn region). VIEW THE MAP

It is surrounded by untouched nature that will certainly amaze you! Besides, due to its location, the yurt camp has no electricity, so you will have a chance to live like a real nomad!

Yurts

The yurt camp “Jyrgal” consists of 15 yurts (2-, 5-, 6-bed yurts and 7-bed yurts) equipped with comfortable beds (with spring mattresses) and clean bedding. In winter the yurts are heated with independent stoves and the felt retains the hot air, keeping it warm and comfortable inside the yurt. In summer, on the contrary, the felt retains the cool air inside the yurt, keeping you safe from the hot sun of Central Asia.

Why Jyrgals yurt camp?

If you decided to visit this country and get to know more about nomadic culture and lifestyle, the yurt camp “Jyrgal” will let you feel yourself as a nomad and understand better these amazing and hospitable people!
